Android Nougat, the version 7.0 of Android mobile OS, is expected to release as soon as this month, a fresh leak hints.
A credible leaker Evan Blass who is known for his leaks also reveals that Nexus 5 users won’t get the update and the public release will come alongside the security patch release on August 5. This is rather early compared to Google’s traditional time frame of a September-October release.
According to Android Police, the update comes with many new features including a few Camera app upgrades.
The camera app includes more grid options and the resurrection of the much-missed manual exposure mode. Even though many third party camera apps allow manual exposure control in Android, Android Nougat is expected to come out with a lot more interesting features.
There will be slide on the right hand side which lets the user to adjust exposure manually- slide up to allow more light and slide down to make the picture darker.

The new camera app will apparently give three more Gridline options, apart from the old standard 3×3 frame. There is now an option to choose 4×4, a Golden Ratio (Phi grid), and the Square Grid used mainly for social apps. The app also allows users to keep the Gridline options off.
The final Nougat public release will also bring improvements like multi-window support, enhanced notifications, revamped doze, number blocking, and more.
