As New Orleans hosted Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, authorities have implemented comprehensive cybersecurity measures to safeguard the event against potential digital threats. The game, featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome, drew an estimated 127 million viewers.
Anil Sharma, CEO of 22nd Century Technologies, took to Linkedin to appreciate his team for their role in delivering “Champion-Level Cybersecurity” at the Super Bowl.

Sharma also thanked the City of New Orleans CIO Kim Walker LaGrue, as well as all the partners of the company, and said the achievement showcased underscores the “strength, resilience, and innovation” of the team, and likened cybersecurity to a team sport.
22nd Century Technologies support 14 executive federal agencies including Department of Defense, Army, Navy and Air Force in sensitive security initiatives. The firm also supports the state and local organization with their cyber services which include dedicated Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and Managed Security Services (MSS).

Sharma, aside from being the CEO of 22nd Century Technologies, is an entrepreneur, investor, consultant, advisor, and strategist. Specializing in cloud transformation, infrastructure optimization, and cybersecurity, Sharma is a pioneer in building successful startups and managing IT infrastructure. He was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2024. He also serves on George Mason University’s Board of Trustees as a member, and co-founded the Indian American Business Impact Group.
