Four Indian American industry leaders —Ritesh Sanghvi, Ajay Sharma, Tajinder Vohra and Raj Pudipeddi — are among the winners of Life Sciences Voice’s (LSV) 2025 edition of the Rising Stars Award.
This prestigious recognition shines a spotlight on emerging leaders who are shaping the future of the life sciences industry through their innovation, impact, and promise, according to a media release from the New York based organization.
These Rising Stars represent the best in leadership, driving transformative ideas and meaningful change that will define the industry in years to come, it stated. Chosen from a competitive pool of nominees, the awardees exemplify the values of ingenuity, collaboration, and patient-centric advancement. Their achievements highlight a wide spectrum of contributions across science, business, technology, and healthcare innovation.
Indian American winners are:
Ritesh Sanghvi leads the Due Diligence, Integration and Divestiture teams at Ipsen, a global pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and commercialization of therapies in Oncology, Neurology, and Rare Disease space.

With 20 years of product development experience serving patient needs, knowledge of discovery, development, regulatory, medical/commercial aspects, he brings in-depth and end-to-end perspective to business development by external innovation efforts.
He focuses on the ideation, planning, delivery, and execution of corporate development efforts toward selection of the “right” assets/transactions followed by its seamless integration. Doing so, he drives the portfolio value by bringing together patient needs with good science and commercial potential.
Prior to joining Ipsen, Sanghvi held a corporate role at AbbVie and Allergan managing their integration and divestiture portfolio. Leading up to this, he spent over 12 years at Allergan and Forest Labs as a pharmaceutical scientist and drug developer with several global drug/device approvals to his credit.
He earned his PhD from the University of Arizona, MBA from SUNY Stony Brook, and an Executive Management Certificate from Wharton School of Business. He has 20+ publications/patents/book chapter/posters and is an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.
Ajay Sharma is Vice President of eCommerce & OmniChannel, Target and Emerging Platforms for Bayer’s Consumer Health division in North America.
In his current role, Sharma is responsible for leading the end-to-end eCommerce & OmniChannel commercial agenda focused on developing eCommerce strategies that align with business, shopper, and retailer needs.

He is also charged with building Go-to-Market models that serve today’s needs and scale for tomorrow, partnering with the right organizations to deliver value and cultivates digital and eCommerce capabilities throughout the organization.
Sharma has a proven track record in eCommerce & OmniChannel and prior to his current role, he was a member of Bayer’s Global eCommerce team in Switzerland and Head of eCommerce in the UK. Before joining Bayer, Sharma spent over a decade at Coca-Cola, advancing through key commercial, trade marketing, and eCommerce roles across multiple channels.
Tajinder Vohra is SVP of Global Operations at Revvity, responsible for overseeing the Company’s manufacturing, supply chain, customer care and distribution functions.
Appointed to his current role in 2015, Vohra brings nearly 30 years’ experience in operations management to the Revvity team. Originally attracted to this field for its sense of action and urgency, Vohra leads a global team that collaborates deeply with R&D and Product Management to launch and manufacture products across the Company’s Life Sciences and Diagnostics businesses.
His team has reengineered complex fulfillment networks and created digital backbones for eCommerce. He has led technology transfers across multiple countries while managing regulated products and geographically distributed teams.
Prior to his current role, Vohra ran Operations for ABB in India and its regional supply chain in the Middle East, Africa and India. Before ABB, Vohra was working in Genpact, a spinoff of GE and a Bain capital company. He helped broaden the service portfolio of the company by incubating and scaling supply chain practices before a successful IPO on the NYSE. Earlier in his career Vohra worked at GE Healthcare across multiple functions.

Vohra earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Delhi, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Lehigh University.
Raj Pudipeddi serves as the Chief Growth Officer at Exact Sciences. He brings three decades of experience in medical devices, consumer goods and telecom across multiple markets.
Prior to Exact Sciences, Pudipeddi served in various leadership roles at Align including as Managing Director for the Americas region, Managing Director for Asia Pacific, and Chief Marketing & Product Officer, driving growth and innovation.
Previously, Pudipeddi served as the Director for Consumer Business and CMO at Bharti Airtel, and in various leadership roles at Procter and Gamble.
Pudipeddi earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Lucknow and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Gandhi Institute of Technology in India. He serves on the Board of Directors at Sonendo and advises Spark Growth Ventures.
