Far-right personality Laura Loomer took to X to share a supposed scoop. The post claims that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) issued a directive to its suppliers titled “Non-Domiciled CDL Drivers” following public attention raised by the author’s earlier viral statements about alleged unauthorized workers handling mail.
According to the post, the directive states that beginning May 1, 2026, non-domiciled commercial driver’s license (CDL) holders will no longer be permitted to transport mail under USPS contracts unless they have been screened and issued clearance by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS).
The notice allegedly requires contractors to ensure all drivers assigned to USPS work meet screening and authorization requirements before performing services. It also places responsibility on suppliers to provide documentation and verify eligibility through designated administrative officials.

The post attributes the directive to Peter Routsolias, described as an Acting Chief Logistics Officer at USPS, and frames the policy as a response related to mail security concerns.
In the post she also shares an image of the letter as well as an image containing information about Peter Routsolias. The post said: “Following my viral tweet and report about how illegal aliens have been working at the @USPS where they are handling mail, which means they will have access to mail in ballots ahead of the 2026 midterms, the USPS sent out a correspondence today to all of their suppliers titled, ‘Non-Domiciled CDL Drivers,’ prohibiting non-domiciled CDL operators from transporting mail under Postal Service contracts or ordering agreements!”
Loomer first gained attention in the late 2010s for provocative activism focused on immigration, Islam, and technology companies, often making controversial and inflammatory claims. She has been banned from multiple social media platforms at different times for policy violations, though she later regained access to some. She ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Congress in Florida in 2020 and 2022. She remains active in conservative political commentary and online media.
She has been described in reporting as being part of Trump’s broader political orbit and reportedly having informal influence on discussions around personnel and political decisions within that ecosystem.
Loomer is widely regarded as a polarizing figure, with supporters viewing her as anti-establishment and critics accusing her of spreading misinformation and extremist rhetoric.
