Ravi Karumuru has taken the helm of OneMagnify as CEO as the Detroit-based global marketing and data science firm shifts its focus toward an AI-native growth strategy.
Karumuru, who had served as the company President since late 2025, succeeds Mark Petroff, who is moving into the role of Chairman after a 25-year tenure as CEO.
The leadership change, backed by private equity firm Crestview Partners, signals a new phase for the Detroit-headquartered company. Under Karumuru’s direction, OneMagnify aims to deepen its integration of generative AI and machine learning to help Fortune 500 clients optimize brand performance and customer engagement.
Karumuru brings a deep technical foundation to the role, rooted in his education and early career in India. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Nagpur University, a background that paved the way for a career at the intersection of engineering and digital marketing.
Before joining OneMagnify, Karumuru spent over a decade in high-level roles at major global firms, including serving as General Manager at Wipro and holding executive positions at Epsilon.

His rise to CEO reflects the ongoing trend of Indian-educated technology leaders taking the reins of major American data and marketing enterprises.
The appointment also aligns with OneMagnify’s growing footprint in the Indian subcontinent. The company recently established a major global innovation hub in Chennai, which serves as a critical center for its data science and software engineering operations.
“Ravi’s expertise in building global technology platforms makes him the ideal leader for our next chapter,” Petroff stated. “His vision for an AI-native future will ensure we continue to deliver high-impact results for our clients on a global scale.”
As CEO and President, Karumuru will oversee a workforce of nearly 900 employees across offices in the United States, Europe, and India. His immediate focus will involve scaling the company’s proprietary technology platforms and expanding its AI-driven analytical capabilities.
