Humain, a Saudi Arabian firm backed by the country’s crown prince, has launched Humain Chat, an Arabic-native AI chatbot. The chatbot is built on the Allam large language model, which the company describes as the “world’s most advanced Arabic-first AI model,” according to Bloomberg.
The company said the chatbot was trained on one of the largest Arabic datasets ever assembled. It is fluent in both Arabic and English and supports multiple Arabic dialects, including Egyptian and Lebanese.
Humain also emphasizes cultural sensitivity, saying its AI has been designed to understand “Islamic culture, values, and heritage.” The chatbot will first launch in Saudi Arabia before expanding across the Middle East. The company says its long-term goal is to reach all 400 million Arabic speakers worldwide.

“Humain Chat is built for the more than 400 million Arabic speakers and 2 billion Muslims worldwide who have been underserved by generative AI. For the first time, people can create, learn, and connect in their own language, culture, and context,” the startup said in its press release.
Humain claims its new chatbot, powered by the ALLAM 34B model, has been created to close a gap in digital inclusion by prioritizing the Arabic language. The AI firm said it aims to “reflect Arabic language, values, heritage and history.”
The app supports real-time web search to provide up-to-date information, Arabic speech input across multiple dialects, and smooth switching between Arabic and English within the same conversation. It also allows users to share conversations for collaboration. The service is hosted on Humain’s infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and built to comply with the country’s personal data protection laws.

Humain was launched by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to develop and manage artificial intelligence technologies, as part of the kingdom’s artificial intelligence drive. It operates under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and offers AI services and products, including data centers, AI infrastructure, cloud capabilities and advanced AI models.
Earlier this year, Humain announced it is partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to invest over $5 billion in a strategic partnership to build a groundbreaking “AI Zone” in the kingdom. This AI Zone is believed to be the first of its kind and is expected to bring together multiple innovative capabilities, including dedicated AWS AI infrastructure and servers with world-class semiconductors. This aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and builds upon the kingdom’s pledge in 2024 to invest in building an AI-powered economy.
