For nearly two years, social media star Angel Victoria Mudrock built a picture-perfect life online that never existed — medical scrubs, clinical rotations, late-night studying and, finally, a graduation photo claiming she had graduated from Duke University. While her medical school masquerade may cost her only public humiliation, a second claim of being a licensed real estate agent could have more serious consequences.
Angel Victoria Mudrock, a 26-year-old social media personality and former Netflix reality TV contestant on the dating show “Temptation Island,” has built an online following of more than 300,000 people. On social media, she claimed to be a student in Duke University’s postgraduate Physician Assistant program. She regularly posted videos and photos portraying herself as a medical student.
The unraveling began when a recent graduate of Duke’s Physician Assistant program noticed that Mudrock’s graduation gown was the wrong color in a social media post. The discovery prompted more people to question the image she had built over the previous two years. She had also made the same claim during her appearance on Netflix’s 2025 revival of “Temptation Island.”

Meanwhile, a Duke University spokesperson confirmed that the university found no record of a student named Angel Mudrock having attended or even applied to Duke’s Physician Assistant program. None of the 89 students in Duke’s PA program remembered seeing her on campus, in class or at any social gatherings during the program. She was also not included in Duke’s 2026 class photo and was not registered with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or listed in the two-hour graduation ceremony.
A recent Duke PA graduate told The Post, “It was sometime last year that we found out about her. We knew she was a fake but we kind of let it go because we were too busy. She had gone quiet for a really long time and it was ‘out of sight, out of mind’ but one of my friends sent me her graduation pics and it was crazy. I thought, ‘Okay this girl is going all the way to the finish line’.[]… I think Angel did it for the optics. She knew this was the number one PA program and wanted the clout and the prestige. She wanted the world to know she had the beauty and the brains.”
Mudrock had also presented herself online as a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and Georgia. Her social media accounts included property listings, home tours and photographs of people whom she described as clients. She also claimed to earn around $7,200 a month as a real estate agent and spent years posting property listings worth $300,000.
One of the pictures showed a family signing a document, with a caption that said, “Shoutout to my clients! Trying to sell and buy can be difficult but they pulled it off. Today we finally closed! Thank you for trusting me! Congrats Jenny and Matt.”
In 2022, she posted, “I got my license in September and ive been grinding ever since!”

However, The New York Post reported that Mudrock does not appear in the licensing databases for either state. A real estate company she claimed to have worked for, Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate, also reportedly said it had never employed anyone by her name.
Impersonating a real estate broker is a Class 1 misdemeanor in North Carolina, which could result in jail time, and a misdemeanor in Georgia, where offenders can face fines. The Realtor title is a federally registered trademark used by members of the National Association of Realtors, but Mudrock was not a member of the association.
Mudrock deactivated her main TikTok and Instagram accounts as scrutiny intensified.
As of now, she is not under investigation for impersonating a Realtor. However, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department source told The Post that if anyone comes forward as a victim, the matter would be taken into consideration.
