Wizard of Mar-a-Lago mixes oil and fire to stem the ominous midterm tides
Donald Trump hit the campaign trail belching smoke and fire seeming to suggest Tehran could ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego as he paused plans to attack Iran before the Nov. 3 midterms.
“They can take out a city. Let them take – let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego,” he boomed at a campaign rally in Nebraska to cheers from the MAGA crowd. “That’s – this is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over with very soon.”
As California leaders reacted with horror with governor Gavin Newsom calling him “deranged and dangerous,” Trump changed the narrative at another rally in San Antonio, Texas, “We protect our cities. We protect our country. We’re not letting that happen.”
“All I was doing was making a comparison between paying a little more, for a short time, for Gasoline, versus the bombing of our Major Cities,” he posted on Truth Social blaming “the Fake and Artificial News Degenerates,” for causing the ‘confusion’ amid ongoing “productive discussions” with Tehran.
Then dropping another bomb on European allies, Trump announced a stunning agreement to buy Russian diesel, upending years of U.S. and western pressure on the Kremlin to end its four-and-a-half year war against Ukraine.

“Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 Tons of Diesel Fuel to the American and Global Marketplace, another 500,000 Tons during the month of November, and 1,000,000 Tons immediately thereafter,” Trump wrote on Truth Social calling the deal “essential” to reduce fuel prices in the U.S.
“Diesel prices for Americans and, indeed, the world, will be COMING DOWN, IN RECORD NUMBERS, AND FAST! Lower prices for Americans, especially our Great Farmers, Ranchers, and Truckers, is my greatest priority,” he wrote.
Amid biting criticism from Ukraine’s Zelenskyy, who called it “a happy birthday present for Putin,” and opposition Democrats, Trump turned his guns on another ‘enemy’ — Norway for denying him the Nobel Prize a second time although the Norwegian government doesn’t pick the winner.
“We will not forget, Norway,” he fumed at a rally for Republican candidates in Syracuse, New York. “The United States of America, represented by me as your president, should have received the Nobel peace prize, but didn’t.”
“And this is an indelible stain on the country of Norway, and those people that made such a disgraceful and embarrassing decision,” Trump said. “The Nobel peace prize has been forever discredited by a handful of radical ideologues who are anti-democracy and really enemies of civilization.”
Trump also recited a list of wars he claims to have settled, including an India-Pakistan conflict, saying “I’m about to settle or win two more: Iran and Russia-Ukraine”— very “quickly.”

“I will tell you what,” he added, darkly, “Iran will be very quick one way or the other: that they give us everything or they don’t exist any longer.”
Despite his “unbelievable accomplishments, the Nobel prize was given out today to a liberal person who works at the United Nations, who nobody has ever heard of,” Trump said of Navi Pillay, the South African former UN human rights chief of Indian origin.
But “this woman,” as Trump called the winner, quickly turned the tables on him quipping to an applauding crowd, “If you clap a little bit more, I may share this prize with Trump” — leaving unsaid how Trump had snagged the medal from last year’s winner, Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado.
Back in Washington, Trump found yet another enemy. “The White House considers anyone that uses the term, ‘Artificial Intelligence,’ as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, ‘Super Intelligence,’ THE ENEMY! ” he declared before hosting an awards party for tech billionaires.
In a building named the Donald J Trump Institute of Peace in Washington, he dished out awards to six tech leaders and even received an award that belonged to his late “super genius” uncle Dr John Trump, an MIT professor who received the National Medal of Science in 1983.
Among five immigrants who received awards at the event celebrating the “golden age” of American innovation was Microsoft chief Satya Nadella from India hours after Vice President JD Vance announced Microsoft’s suspension from a program allowing companies to sponsor foreign workers for green cards.
But amid hectic campaigning and burdens of high office, the former real estate mogul did not forget his pet projects. At an event to celebrate Italian explorer Christopher Columbus, he unveiled a 13-foot Columbus statue at the White House.
Trump also announced plans to turn his West Palm Beach golf club into a new Camp David-style presidential retreat where presidents could vacation, meet foreign leaders and conduct high-level diplomacy.
The plan calls for the federal government to be granted part of the property, with the rest maintained as a private course. The compound would not be for him but for presidents who follow him in office, the POTUS declared magnanimously in the Oval Office.

“They asked if I’d be willing to do it, and I said I would be. This wouldn’t be for me. This would be for all future presidents,” he said. Asked whether the retreat would be called “Camp Donald,” Trump reminded it already had a name: Trump International.
Meanwhile, as the United States joined a superpower race to put nuclear reactors on the Moon with NASA asking contractors to build one ready for launch by 2030, the White House posted, “America will establish a permanent presence on the moon. ![]()

While some followers suggested sending illegal immigrants or top opposition Democratic leaders there, one enthusiastic fan posted a picture of Trump striding to lead the mission himself saying, “LET’S GO!! ![]()
