Temperatures hover close to 40 degrees Celsius.

Bengaluru may soon lose its status of being a pleasant city as the temperature in the IT hub of India is rising every year.
On Sunday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 39.2 degree Celsius beating the record of 38.3 degree Celsius which was recorded in April 1931, reported The Times of India.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the city has been around 37 to 38-degree Celsius for a few weeks. But some private agencies have claimed that the temperature has gone up to 40 degree.
But, the city received light rainfall on Monday evening and it helped to reduce the temperature in the night.
The state capital of Karnataka, which was known for pleasant weather through the year, is witnessing unduly high temperatures this summer. Different parts of the state is also experiencing severe drought.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature is going to be around 38 degree for upcoming weeks. Light thunderstorms may also be seen in the city for a few days.
Some incidents of sun stroke and accidental fire have been reported in the city.
